The latest Henley Passport Index for 2025 reveals that Singapore retains its position as the world's most powerful passport, granting visa-free access to 193 destinations.
Asian countries, particularly Singapore, Japan, and South Korea, dominate the top spots, while traditional leaders like the US and UK continue to slide down the rankings. India made the most significant improvement, jumping eight places to 77th, now offering its citizens visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 59 countries. The rankings highlight shifting global mobility trends, with several Asian and Middle Eastern countries, such as the UAE, also climbing the list.
These changes reflect evolving diplomatic relations and the growing importance of passport power in global travel.
